Iman Childs is an emerging arts administrator with a background in filmmaking and writing. She is passionate about socially conscious films and television shows that work to connect cultures. A New York native, Iman is an alumna of Northwestern University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Film.
Her senior thesis film, In Plain Sight, was screened at three film festivals in New York City. As a 2014-2015 Fulbright grantee, Iman filmed African immigrants in Rome to document their integration into Italian society. She recently completed a year-long fellowship as the Digital Media Fellow at Playwrights Horizons, an Off-Broadway theater company.
